After ruling for about 70 years, Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022, at 96 years old.
Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926. She started ruling at the young age of 25. It soon came to an end on September 8, 2022, after 70 years of Ruling. On that day, the Royal family posted online that the queen has died, but they did not add the particular cause of death. According to her death certificate, she died of "old age" but we are not entirely sure about this tho. Her funeral took place on the 19th of September in Westminster Abby, a royal Church located in London. The queen was buried next to her spouse prince Philip Along with her parents and sister in Windsor Castle's King George VI Memorial Chapel in the Royal Vault.
Who will rule now? Who will Reign after this crazy event? Well, the answer is non-other than King Charles. King Charles is now the new King. King Charles will be crowned King on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 along with the new Queen, Queen Consort Camilla.
King Charles's plan for coronation is Charles will be anointed with holy oil, receive the orb, coronation ring, and scepter, then be crowned with the majestic St Edward's crown and blessed during the ceremony. Camilla will also be anointed with holy oil and crowned, as was the Queen Mother when she was crowned Queen in 1937. We do not fully know what to expect these days from him, but that, we would just have to wait for.
