With only four days after its release, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald has made over $62 million. This movie is a sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. The Fantastic Beasts series is a screenplay written by J.K. Rowling herself unlike her book series, Harry Potter, which had a different writer for the screenplay. The Harry Potter series successfully made $7.7 billion.

The story of Fantastic Beasts appears and is talked about in the Harry Potter series however it is only a known book in the wizard world. The book was written by a character named Newt Scamander who is no longer alive in the time Harry Potter was taken place. Fundamentally, the Fantastic Beast series’ plot is supposed to be before the Harry Potter series’. The book (in a book hah!) ultimately became its own movie and a multi-million-dollar franchise.

The first movie (Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them) takes place in 1926 in New York City. Newt Scamander, the protagonist of the movie, was supposed to stop by New York only for a brief moment while carrying a medium-sized suitcase. However, of course, the movie wouldn’t be a movie without a conflict. The dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald, abducts Newt’s suitcase that carries an abundance of magical creatures so essentially one can see where this is going to go. The magical and dangerous creatures escape and create chaos all over the city. Eventually, the chaos gets to a character named Senior Auror Percival Grave who is now going after Newt for being the cause of the chaos. Sooner or later, there’s more reasoning to Auror’s actions and the creatures are put back into the suitcase and Grindelwald is arrested.

A former fan of the amazing works of J.K. Rowling, Jeffrey Santillan, said “J.K. Rowling did an amazing job for this screenplay. The movie was good and I, as a committed Harry Potter fan, enjoyed it very much”

The second movie (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald) the story goes deeper into characters that have been mentioned in the Harry Potter series like Corvus Lestrange, Credence, Leta Lestrange, and Laurena Kama. More background about the characters is revealed and even the history between Grindelwald and Dumbledore is displayed. Many plot twists happen and to sum it all up the movie ended with a cliffhanger and the viewers with a lot of questions.

In conclusion, the movie is remarkably astonishing and very agonizing because of the ending J.K. Rowling leaves the audience with. Ten out of ten would recommend for those who enjoy fiction and magical things.
