Seniors Say Their Final Farwell!

KADENCE McGLOUN, Staff Writer

Friday, October 6, 2023, NBTHS hosted its annual Senior Night. There were more people at the game that night than ever before. Every game has a theme, and this one was no different; it was "Pinkout for Breast Cancer Awareness Month". Raiders played against the New Brunswick Zebras.

The night entailed a ton of festivities and was overall a great time. It started off with each senior getting walked out with their closest family and friends, starting off with the cheerleaders and going all the way to the marching band and color guard. Every senior had a poster made for them by lower classmen from their respective teams. Some people even had their front doors decorated with chalk and balloons.

During the game, the varsity cheer squad along with the NBTMS cheerleaders participated in a variety of fun crowd-engaging activities, such as doing the Church-Clap Dance and the Cupid Shuffle. Another fun event at the game was the NBTHS Color Guard and Marching Band's new half-time show, "Romeo and Juliet". One word to describe the performance is outstanding. It was extremely intricate and pleasant to watch. The undefeated Raiders continued their streak to win the game 35 to 0! Overall it was a night to remember for all parties involved.
