This Halloween was one of the best Halloweens I've ever experienced. My friend and I dressed up as Max and Goofy, and honestly, it couldn't have been any better. The weather was perfectly chilly and cozy, with the red and orange leaves covering the sidewalks, which made everything feel warm and way more magical, even in the cold.
We went trick or treating all around the neighborhood, laughing, running from house to house, and walking until our feet hurt, but it was so worth it. The streets were filled with glowing pumpkins and Halloween decorations which was awesome to see and experience. That night felt like a movie. The amount of candy we got was almost sinful.

Later that same weekend I spent the evening carving pumpkins while also baking some cookies with my cinnamon pumpkin candle light on. It was one the finest evenings I'd spent over the break. After carving the pumpkins, which was a mess by the way, I lit candles inside them while eating the cookies I baked earlier. The next morning I woke up to a squirrel eating half of the smallest pumpkin we got and making a mess outside on the balcony, which made me sad, but it was also really funny. This Halloween wasn't just about costumes or candy, It was about all the cozy, fun, memories.
