Congratulations to the second group of seniors committing to four year schools and their athletic programs.
Hayley Brancov - Wagner University (cheerleading)
“Hayley has made immense growth as an athlete and a person. She has shown her ability to be versatile and flexible with the team and we are so excited for her to continue growing at Wagner College.” - Courtney Short, Varsity Cheerleading Coach
Iyanna Fisher - Montclair State University (track)
"Iyanna is our high jump captain and has been an all-around performer for us during her career. She was the stabilizing force for our young and developing high jump group." - Schwann Grimes II, Varsity Track Coach
Samaad Hicks - Montclair State University (football)
“Samaad has become a mature and respectful student at North Brunswick who also serves time in the community and at the elementary schools. His energy, positivity, and commitment show on and off the field. He was one of the most electric players I have had the opportunity to coach and he led our team with hard work and by example. He scored 136 total points his senior year to place himself 8th all time in North Brunswick Football history
His passion and love for the game will go with him to Montclair St. Football, a traditionally great football school. I wish him all the luck!” - Michael Cipot, Varsity Football Coach
Jomar Mena - Castleton University (wrestling)
"Jomar Mena is a star wrestler for our varsity team; he will surely be missed. He is a 4 year varsity letter winner with over 50 career wins. He led the team as a captain for 2 years, placed at Districts and qualified for the Region 5 tournament for 3 years in a row, and won the Kindness Counts Award from the GMC. We are very excited and proud of Jomar's career here at NBTHS and look forward to seeing him take on new challenges at Castleton University next Fall." - David Saley, Varsity Wrestling Coach
Bryan Yu - Montclair State University (basketball)
"Bryan Yu, an outstanding student athlete transferred from Notre Dame High School for his senior season. He contributed to North Brunswick Basketball's successful season by way of leadership along with his athletic skill set on the court, specifically shooting the 3 point shot. Montclair University is adding a major piece to their university." - Raheem Byrom, Varsity Basketball Coach
