Senior Speech: Vaibhav Chari

Greetings and welcome to graduation, the Class of 2026. As I look out to the audience I am filled with a little bit of regret. Not because I messed something up, not because there is something I forgot. I feel this regret because, when I look out into the blue filling these seats, there are names I do not know. There are many faces I barely recognize. Yet, despite all that, I feel this deep connection to every single person here today. Because we are, and always will be, the Class of 2026 at North Brunswick Township High School.

We are not just a group of strangers, who coincidentally ended up at the same building. Every single experience we shared: going through Covid together, every single mosh pit at Homecoming, running around trying to find something to fit the theme for the football games, and even the lip dub, remember that? Those aren’t just random, stand alone events. Every single thing has worked to bring us together, to create the strong family I am looking out into right now. Those bonds will never go away; it is on us to keep exploring those connections.

The world outside of these doors can be very lonely. For certain there will be hardships that seem like the end of the world. There will be times when you don’t know who to turn to, when your world is crumbling around you. However, I want everyone in this room to walk out of this building, into the open world without fear, because no matter what, we will always have each other. Do not let fear, or doubt, or any negative emotion control your life for you are a part of the WORLD FAMOUS North Brunswick Class of 2026, the best to ever do it. If you remember that, and feel that love, I promise you will never, never walk alone.
