The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization that recognizes high school students for their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Its primary goal is to encourage academic excellence, community involvement, and the development of strong leadership qualities among young people. The NHS members are expected to maintain a high GPA, participate in service projects, and demonstrate ethical behavior both in and out of school. The activities of the NHS often include volunteering in the local community, organizing school events, tutoring peers, and engaging in leadership development programs.
