This quote is empowering and encourages everyone to think of everyone as equal. It means women are just as capable as men, no one should differentiate based upon gender, and sometimes women can be even more successful. Katherine Johnson was an American mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. crewed spaceflights. She is known for helping to send the first man to the moon, during the Apollo moon landing program.
